Andris Huang received his B.A. degrees in Physics and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2024. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Applied Science and Technology at UC Berkeley and is co-advised by Prof. Jun-Chau Chien and Prof. Hartmut Haeffner. Andris is interested in trapping electrons as qubits for quantum information processing in a cryogenic environment, as well as using CMOS control and readout electronics to enhance the system’s robustness and scalability.
