Michael Pedowitz received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2015. He then went on to receive his PhD. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2024, working with Dr. Kevin Daniels on low-dimensional materials and graphene heterostructures. His research interests include inorganic-organic material interfaces and nanostructure-enabled biosensors. Dr. Pedowitz has received several awards, including the Clark Doctoral Fellowship (2019) and the University of Maryland ECE Dissertation Fellowship (2024). He has also authored a variety of publications in Mat. Tod. Adv., IEEE JMEMS, and Biosensors & Bioelectronics.
